Ethical Publishing Standards

Upholding the integrity of academic publishing is critical to preserving the value and reliability of scientific contributions. Confseries is committed to fostering transparency, trust, and ethical rigor in all research submissions.

Original Work and Plagiarism Policy

Confseries considers only original research articles that have not been submitted or published elsewhere. Every submission is screened using plagiarism detection tools to verify authenticity. Submissions with plagiarized content or incorrect citations will be immediately declined.

Authors may be required to revise and resubmit their work based on reviewer evaluations and ethical guidelines.

Duplicate and Redundant Submissions

Authors must not submit work that closely mirrors previously published or concurrently submitted articles. Such duplication violates copyright principles and publishing standards.

Manuscripts must not be submitted to more than one journal simultaneously. Confseries strictly enforces this policy and reserves the right to reject any submission that breaches it.

If an author plans to use any copyrighted content such as tables or illustrations, official permission from the copyright holder must be secured and submitted.

Citation Ethics

All references must be relevant and necessary for the content. Citing sources with the intent to artificially inflate metrics or mislead readers is unethical and may result in manuscript rejection.

Data Accuracy and Research Integrity

Intentional manipulation or fabrication of data is a serious ethical violation. Any sign of false or manipulated data will lead to rejection and may result in a ban on future submissions.

Author Roles and Responsibilities

Each listed author must have contributed significantly to the research. Acknowledgment must be given to research assistants, students, or technicians who contributed in a non-authorship role.

Falsely assigning or omitting authorship is a breach of ethical standards.

Disclosure of Conflicts of Interest

Authors are required to disclose any personal or financial conflicts of interest at the time of submission. All relevant disclosures must be clearly included in the final version of the article.

Reusing Published Content

Figures, charts, or tables that have appeared in other publications must be used with appropriate authorization. Manuscripts containing reused content without permission will be withdrawn from review.

Privacy and Consent

Authors must protect participant identities and privacy. Written consent is required for any identifiable personal data and must be acknowledged within the manuscript. Editors may request evidence of consent.

Institutional Review and Ethics Approval

Research involving human or animal subjects must include an ethics statement in the methods section. This should include the name and location of the ethics board, approval reference number, and date.

Example:
“Approval for the research was obtained from the Institutional Review Board of [Institution], located in [Location], on [Date].”

If ethics approval was not required, a valid explanation must be included. For animal studies, authors must describe how ethical treatment was ensured, in accordance with ARRIVE guidelines.
