Salam Yousef Jamil Abu Zaitoun is a Senior Researcher at the Biodiversity and Environmental Research Center (BERC), Palestine, and a Ph.D. candidate in Plant Pathology at Palestine Technical University–Kadoorie. He has more than 15 years of research experience in agricultural biotechnology, medicinal plants, plant pathology, biological control, molecular biology, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable crop protection. His current research focuses on plant-derived essential oils, nanoformulations, natural products, antimicrobial and insecticidal bioactive compounds, medicinal and aromatic plants, and environmentally friendly alternatives for sustainable agriculture. He has participated in several national and international research projects and has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications.
