Prof. Dr. Murat ÖZDAL is a Professor in the Department of Biology, Faculty of Science, Atatürk University, Turkey. He earned his Ph.D. in Biology from Atatürk University, where his doctoral research focused on citric acid production by Aspergillus niger using agro-industrial wastes. His research encompasses industrial biotechnology, microbial biotechnology, food biotechnology, fermentation technology, enzyme technology, bioactive compounds, natural product chemistry, nutraceuticals, functional foods, sustainable biomanufacturing, and applied microbiology. He has authored numerous SCI-indexed publications, edited scientific books, supervised postgraduate research, and actively contributes to biotechnology and food science research.
