Dr. Tobeka Naki is a Lecturer in the Department of Chemical and Earth Sciences at the University of Fort Hare, South Africa, and an active researcher supported by the Govan Mbeki Research and Development Council. Her research focuses on nanoformulation and targeted drug delivery, particularly PEGylated and polymer-based nanocarriers for cancer and neurodegenerative diseases. She integrates in silico and in vitro approaches to develop advanced polymer–drug conjugates and nanomedicines. Her research has received funding from the South African Medical Research Council (MRC), the National Research Foundation (NRF), and the Govan Mbeki Research and Development Council. She is also actively involved in postgraduate supervision and translational nanomedicine research.
