Prof. Dr. Seyed Hadi Razavi is a Distinguished Professor and Full Professor in the Department of Food Science & Technology at the University of Tehran, Iran. He earned his Ph.D. in Biotechnology from the Polytechnic University of Nancy, France, after completing his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Food Technology in Iran. His research focuses on probiotics, fermented foods, microbial metabolites, functional foods, food biotechnology, bioactive peptides, and food bioprocess engineering. He has published more than 217 scientific documents with over 9,800 citations and an h-index of 50. He has served as Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering and Technology and Head of the Department of Food Science & Engineering. He is internationally recognized as one of the world's top one percent scientists.
