Dr. Abdul Qayum is a Postdoctoral Researcher in Food Science at the College of Food Science and Engineering, Shandong Agricultural University, China. He earned his Ph.D. in Food Science from Northeast Agricultural University, where his research focused on the stability assessment of alpha-lactalbumin-loaded emulsions and emulsion gels. His current research centers on developing self-healing injectable hydrogels for diabetic wound healing. Dr. Qayum has extensive expertise in food processing, analytical chemistry, nutritional biochemistry, emulsions, hydrogels, functional foods, nutraceuticals, cosmetic creams and lotions, hair growth, and scalp disorders. He has authored over 100 research and review articles and actively collaborates on interdisciplinary research integrating food science, pharmacology, dermatology, and cosmetic sciences.
