Journal of Cardiovascular Research and Clinical Practice

Instructions for Authors

Scope and Mission

Journal of Cardiovascular Research and Clinical Practice (jcrc) is an internationally reputed, peer-reviewed platform that highlights innovative studies and developments across the field of cardiovascular research and clinical practice. The journal serves as a channel for publishing significant contributions in Confseries along with other areas connected to cardiovascular research and clinical practice. jcrc welcomes original, evidence-based research articles that provide fresh insights, promote interdisciplinary cooperation, and advance both theoretical understanding and applied practices within the pharmaceutical sciences.

Manuscript Submission Process

Authors may submit their manuscripts through the official online submission portal or by sending them directly via email to editorialoffice@confseries.net. Once the submission is received, the corresponding author will be assigned a unique manuscript identification number within three (3) business days. This reference number should be used to track the progress of the submission and for all subsequent correspondence.

Important: The responsibility for ensuring the originality, accuracy, and adherence to ethical publishing standards lies entirely with the authors.

Compliance with Public Access Policies

In alignment with the NIH Public Access Policy, jcrc guarantees that articles supported by NIH funding are deposited in both PubMed and PubMed Central after publication. The same requirement extends to studies funded by the UK Research Councils and the European Union, reinforcing our commitment to open access, transparency, and broad dissemination of biomedical knowledge.

Editorial and Peer Review Process

Every manuscript submitted to jcrc undergoes an initial editorial assessment, followed by a rigorous double-blind peer review. The journal welcomes a wide range of submissions, including original research articles, critical reviews, illustrative case studies, expert opinions, and methodological innovations. Authors are encouraged to enrich their manuscripts with supporting figures, tables, and graphics to improve readability and impact.

Expedited Review Option (Fee-Based Service)

For contributors who require a quicker decision, jcrc offers an optional fast-track review service:

  • Initial Editorial Screening: Completed within 3 business days
  • Peer Reviewer Comments: Provided within 5 business days
  • Final Editorial Verdict: Communicated within 2 business days after peer review

Submission Requirements and Formatting Guidelines

Authors preparing a manuscript for jcrc should ensure that the following documents are included with their submission:

  • Title Page (DOC format): Must contain the full article title, complete author details (names, affiliations), and the contact information of the corresponding author.
  • Main Manuscript (DOC): The full text should be provided, with tables (each not exceeding two pages) added at the end of the file.
  • Figures: High-quality images should be submitted separately in JPG, PNG, PPT, or DOC/DOCX format, with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi.
  • Cover Letter (DOC): Briefly highlight the importance of the study, explain its relevance to jcrc, and clearly disclose any potential conflicts of interest.
  • Suggested Reviewers: Provide the full names and institutional email addresses of two potential peer reviewers who are not recent collaborators and who do not have conflicts of interest.

Disclosures and Acknowledgments

  • Acknowledgments: Mention the contributions of individuals or organizations who assisted in the research but are not listed as authors. Written permission must be obtained from those acknowledged.
  • Funding Information: Provide the full names of all supporting agencies along with grant numbers or identifiers, where relevant.
  • Conflict of Interest: Declare any financial, institutional, or personal connections that may be viewed as potential conflicts. If none exist, clearly state "None to declare."

Figures, Tables, and Supplementary Materials

  • Tables: Should be numbered sequentially (e.g., Table 1, Table 2), created using MS Word's native table tool, and positioned at the end of the manuscript file.
  • Figures: Must be uploaded as individual files. Each figure should have a descriptive caption included in the manuscript text, rather than embedded within the image itself.
  • Supplementary Files: Supporting content such as large datasets, appendices, or multimedia elements may be provided as a single, combined PDF document.

Reference Style and Citations

  • In-text citations: References should be cited numerically in square brackets, such as [1], [2], and so on.
  • Author listing: When there are six or fewer authors, list all names. For works with more than six authors, include the first six followed by et al.
  • Eligible sources: Only works that are published or officially accepted for publication (“in press”) may be included. Unpublished material and personal communications should not appear in the reference list.

Editorial Assessment and Revision Process

All manuscripts submitted to jcrc are first evaluated by the editorial office to determine their relevance to the journal's scope, adherence to quality benchmarks, and compliance with ethical publishing standards. Approximately 70% of submissions that pass this initial review are then sent forward for external peer evaluation.

If revisions are required, authors will receive a formal decision letter summarizing the reviewer's recommendations. Revised manuscripts must be resubmitted within 7 days of receiving the notification. In exceptional cases, authors may request an extension in writing from the editorial office.

Submissions not revised and returned within the specified timeframe may be treated as withdrawn from the review process.

Proofing and Final Publication

After acceptance, the corresponding author will be provided with galley proofs in PDF format by email for final verification. Authors should carefully review the file to correct any typographical, formatting, or factual errors. Please note that substantial modifications—such as changes to data, figures, or the author list—are not allowed at this stage.

Printed copies of the published article can be supplied on request. Authors wishing to obtain hard copies for personal reference or institutional distribution may contact the editorial office to make arrangements.
