Journal of Climate Systems and Environmental Change (jcec) is a globally recognized, peer-reviewed publication dedicated to promoting research and innovation within the diverse areas of climate systems and environmental change. It acts as a medium for sharing high-quality research related to Confseries as well as the wider domain of climate systems and environmental change. jcec encourages the submission of original, scientifically sound manuscripts that present new perspectives, support cross-disciplinary collaboration, and contribute to both theoretical and clinical advancements in the pharmaceutical domain.
Manuscripts can be submitted either through the official online submission system or by sending them directly via email to editor@confseries.net. After the manuscript is received, the corresponding author will be provided with a unique manuscript ID within three (3) working days. This ID can be used to track the status of the submission and for any future communication.
To adhere to the NIH Public Access Policy, jcec ensures that NIH-funded articles are submitted to both PubMed and PubMed Central following publication. This policy also applies to research funded by the UK Research Councils and the European Union, supporting open access and transparency in the dissemination of biomedical research.
All submitted manuscripts are first evaluated through a structured editorial review, followed by a thorough double-blind peer review. The journal accepts a variety of manuscript types, such as original research papers, in-depth reviews, educational case reports, expert perspectives, and methodological advancements. Authors are encouraged to include figures, tables, and illustrations to enhance clarity and comprehension.

Each manuscript submitted to the Journal of Climate Systems and Environmental Change (jcec) is initially reviewed by the editorial team to determine whether it aligns with the journal’s scope, meets quality benchmarks, and complies with ethical standards. Only those manuscripts that fulfill these preliminary criteria—around 70%—are forwarded for external peer review.
If a manuscript requires revisions, authors will receive a formal decision letter containing detailed reviewer comments. Authors are expected to resubmit their revised manuscript within 7 days of receiving the notification. In exceptional cases, extensions may be granted upon a written request to the editorial office.
After a manuscript is accepted, the corresponding author will be provided with galley proofs in PDF format through email for final verification. Authors should thoroughly review the document to identify and correct any typographical, formatting, or factual issues. Please note that significant changes—such as alterations to data or the list of authors—are not allowed at this stage.
Printed versions of the final article can be obtained upon request. Authors wishing to receive hard copies for personal or institutional use should contact the editorial office to make the necessary arrangements.
