Ph.D
Dr. Lucia La Mura, MD, PhD, is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Advanced Biomedical Sciences, University “Federico II” of Naples, Italy. She is a cardiologist specializing in advanced multimodality cardiovascular imaging, including transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, cardiovascular magnetic resonance, and cardiac computed tomography. Dr. La Mura holds ESC/EACVI full certifications in TTE and TOE, as well as Level III certifications in CMR and CCT.
She has served as Head of the Cardiovascular Imaging Laboratory at Centro Medico Ascione (2020–2025) and completed a fellowship in advanced cardiac imaging at Vall d’Hebron University Hospital in Barcelona. She is actively involved in teaching, scientific research, and international collaborations, with over 50 publications in leading peer-reviewed journals. Her expertise extends to cardiac imaging software platforms and she is a member of ESC, SCMR, EACVI, and the Italian Society of Cardiology.
